So.
3 months after my good truck got struck by lightning on I-40, I finally got it back today. Tomorrow I fire my insurance company, and now I don’t have to drive my 21-year-old mud truck and its 8 local miles per gallon to work every day.
Life’s getting better and better every day. I’ve been in the service a year and a half now, getting used to the fact that what I do now is what I’ll be doing for the foreseeable future. That’s what I am now. I’m an airplane mechanic, and I have been for a while. I’ve been a lot of things, but this is completely insane. I’ve found my rhythm, and my old swagger’s back. More to come.
